You already code transactions and use spend cards every day. We just shipped Coding Assistant, which uses the context ImpactGraph has about your organization to help you code transactions correctly the first time.

Here's what's new:

  • Run compliance checks as you code: when you assign a transaction to a ledger account and grant, ImpactGraph checks the available balance and budget categories in real time.
  • Catch problems early: if a ledger account isn't in a grant's budget, or a funding source would go negative, you get an alert right away.
  • See what was checked: click into any transaction to review which checks ran and what funds remain.

These are the first compliance checks, and they already keep you from coding things to the wrong place and rebalancing later.

We'd love to know what you think.
